Episode 48: “Spooky Action at a Distance”, “This Must be the Place” & Demo Tapes: The Clash – “The Clash (UK)” (1977)

This week Adam & Simon find themselves interacting in space with no mediator (look it up) as we listen to Deerhunter member Lockett Pundt’s solo project Lotus Plaza and his sophomore album “Spooky Action at a Distance”, we get out our make-up kit and extra-strong lacquer to prepare for our discussion of new Sean Penn vehicle “This Must be the Place” and we conclude our segment Demo Tapes looking at proto/classic punk with the 1977 self-titled debut from The Clash (the UK release, not the US which was released later in 1979). Enjoy!
